ArenaBowl XXXIII, this year’s championship game for the Arena Football League, has been officially set to take place at the American Dream Center in East Rutherford, NJ. The game will take place at The Rink inside the mall complex that formerly hosted the PHF league’s Metropolitan Riveters women’s pro hockey team.
The game will take place Friday, July 19 at 5:30 pm EDT, an early evening start likely necessitated by the AFL’s reported new television partner. CBS Sports Network is already committed to air the Seattle Reign vs Utah Royals women’s pro soccer game in the Summer Cup tournament at 9 pm EDT that night.
ArenaBowl XXXIII had originally been set to take place at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN, the home venue for the Minnesota Myth. The Myth along with seven other AFL teams ceased play during the season though necessitating a change in the 2024 championship game site.
