A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect to 10 am Sunday, September 22, 2024 including the following Washington, DC region jurisdictions.

MARYLAND: Garrett, Allegany.
VIRGINIA: Augusta, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Highland.
WEST VIRGINIA: Hampshire, Hardy, Grant, Mineral, Pendleton.

* WHAT…Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.

* WHERE…Portions of western Maryland, northwest and western Virginia, and eastern West Virginia.

* WHEN…Until 10 AM EDT this morning.

* IMPACTS…Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
