A Dense Fog Advisory is now in effect Tuesday, September 24 to 8 am Wednesday, September 25, 2024 including the following Washington, DC region jurisdictions.
MARYLAND: Garrett, western Allegany.
VIRGINIA: western Highland.
WEST VIRGINIA: western Grant, western Mineral, western Pendleton.
…DENSE FOG ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT WEDNESDAY…
* WHAT…Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
* WHERE…In Maryland, Extreme Western Allegany and Garrett Counties. In Virginia, Western Highland County. In West Virginia, Western Grant, Western Mineral, and Western Pendleton Counties.
* WHEN…Until 8 AM EDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS…Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The latest traffic cameras show some of these reductions in visibility may be quite abrupt. Near zero visibility is evident in a number of spots.
