MARYLAND: Frederick, Carroll, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Cecil, Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, Montgomery, Howard, Harford.
VIRGINIA: Fairfax, Arlington, Falls Church, Alexandria, northern Fauquier, Loudoun, northwest Prince William.

…ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THROUGH THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON…
Low humidity and gusty northwest winds will bring a greater risk of adverse fire behavior and rapid fire spread, mostly from late this morning through mid afternoon.
Relative humidity values will drop 20 to 25 percent, with west to northwest winds of 10 to 15 mph, gusting to 20 to 25 mph.
Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether you may burn outdoors on Saturday. If you do burn, use extreme caution since fires can increasingly escalate under these conditions.

…Increased Risk of Fire Spread Today…
There is an increased risk for fire spread today for central and southern New Jersey, southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and northeastern Maryland. Minimum relative humidity values will be near 20 percent combined with northwest winds near 10 to 15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. These conditions could support the rapid spread of any fires that ignite, which could quickly become difficult to control.
Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. Be sure to properly extinguish or dispose of any potential ignition sources, including smoking materials such as cigarette butts. Refer to your state`s forest fire management agency for more information on burn restrictions for your local area.
