A Blizzard Warning remains in effect to 3 pm Monday, February 17, 2025 including the following jurisdictions.

MARYLAND: Garrett.
WEST VIRGINIA: western Grant, western Pendleton.

…BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON…

WHAT…Localized blizzard conditions in snow showers. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.

WHERE…In Maryland, Garrett County. In West Virginia, Western Grant and Western Pendleton Counties.

WHEN…Until 3 PM EST this afternoon.

IMPACTS…Plan on slippery and variable travel conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snow showers will be more localized and intermittent in nature before tapering to flurries this afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
