A Flash Flood Warning is now in effect to 12:15 pm Friday, August 9, 2024 including the following Washington, DC region jurisdictions.

MARYLAND: northeastern Carroll, northwestern Baltimore.

Northeastern Carroll County in north central Maryland…
Northwestern Baltimore County in northern Maryland…

* Until 1215 PM EDT.

* At 1021 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
