* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…A portion of central Virginia, including the following counties, Albemarle, City of Charlottesville, Greene and Orange.
* WHEN…Until 615 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1204 PM EDT, stream gauges continue to reported ongoing flooding on multiple streams and rivers. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen.
