…FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON…
- WHAT…Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be possible.
- WHERE…Portions of western Maryland, including the following area, Garrett and eastern West Virginia, including the following area, Western Grant.
- WHEN…Through this afternoon.
- IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

- Heavy rainfall on top of residual snowpack will lead to increased runoff concerns. 1 to 2 inches of rain is expected across the watch area today. The combination of one to two inches of rain combined with 2 to 5 inches of snow water liquid equivalent from remaining snowpack on the ground will lead to flooding concerns.
