FOX & NBC sports telecasts previously scheduled to air from 9 pm EDT onward on Thursday, June 27 have been moved to alternate outlets in order for the broadcast networks to simulcast CNN’s presidential debate at that time between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump from Atlanta, GA.
FOX’s coverage of the Copa America men’s soccer game between Bolivia and Uruguay at 9 pm EDT will now be shown instead on FS2 while NBC’s Olympic track & field trials coverage will switch at 9 pm from NBC to USA Network. The Copa America game earlier that evening at 6 pm EDT between the United States and Panama will still air on FOX.
All four major broadcast networks including ABC, CBS, FOX & NBC are now scheduled to simulcast the CNN debate. Additional national outlets including but not limited to PBS, Univision and C-SPAN2 are also signed to carry the debate simulcast. The networks will carry the coverage under strict broadcast & promotional conditions set by CNN.
