A Frost Advisory remains in effect to 9 am Wednesday, October 16, 2024 including the following Washington, DC region jurisdictions.

MARYLAND: Washington, Frederick, Carroll, northern Baltimore, northwest Montgomery, northwest Howard, northwest Harford.
VIRGINIA: Frederick, Warren, Clarke, Nelson, Albemarle, Greene, Madison, Rappahannock, Orange, Culpeper, Fauquier, Loudoun, northwest Prince William.
WEST VIRGINIA: Hampshire, Morgan, Berkeley, Jefferson, Hardy.

* WHAT…Temperatures as low as 33 will result in frost formation.

* WHERE…Portions of central and northern Maryland, central and northern Virginia, and eastern West Virginia.

* WHEN…Until 9 AM EDT this morning.

* IMPACTS…Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
