A Frost Advisory remains in effect to 9 am Thursday, April 17, 2025 including the following jurisdictions.

MARYLAND: Washington, Frederick, Carroll, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Cecil, Montgomery, Howard, Harford.
VIRGINIA: Frederick, Warren, Clarke, Nelson, Albemarle, Greene, Madison, Rappahannock, Orange, Culpeper, Fairfax, Stafford, Spotsylvania, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William, Manassas, Manassas Park.
WEST VIRGINIA: Morgan, Berkeley, Jefferson.

…FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT THIS MORNING…

WHAT…Temperatures of 33 to 36 degrees will result in frost formation.

WHERE…Portions of central, north central, northeast, and northern Maryland, central, northern, and northwest Virginia, and panhandle West Virginia.

WHEN…Until 9 AM EDT this morning.

IMPACTS…Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
