This Saturday’s Howard Bison and Hampton Pirates football game at Audi Field will be televised at 4 pm EDT by Monumental Sports Network. The previously undisclosed television outlet for the Truth & Service Classic was revealed by Howard’s athletic website on its schedule page and confirmed by the Zap2it & ESPN listings services.
Previous reports indicated that the game could land on ESPN+ (which normally streams MEAC home football games) or FloFootball (which normally streams CAA home football games). Neither subscription service itself ever posted a link for the game. Monumental will instead stream the game via MonumentalSportsNetwork.com & the Monumental+ app in addition to TV.
The MEAC’s Howard Bison come into the game with a 2-1 record with closer than projected wins over new FCS school Mercyhurst and traditional DII rival Morehouse. The CAA’s Hampton Pirates, the officially designated home team for the game, are also 2-1 with wins over DII school Virginia Union and a rout of MEAC rival Norfolk State.
