The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington DC has issued a Red Flag Warning along the Allegheny Front in West Virginia and Virginia, which is in effect until 8 PM EST this evening.
* TIMING…Until 8 PM EST this evening.
* WINDS…Southeast 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…As low as 10 percent.
* IMPACTS…The combination of dry conditions, low humidity, and strong gusty winds may result in favorable conditions for the rapid spread of fires.
* FUEL MOISTURE…Dropping to around 10 percent.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
