DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.
MARYLAND: Washington, Frederick, Carroll, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, Allegany, Montgomery, Howard.
VIRGINIA: Augusta, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Frederick, Page, Warren, Clarke, Nelson, Albemarle, Greene, Madison, Rappahannock, Culpeper, Fairfax, Arlington, Falls Church, Alexandria, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William, Manassas, Manassas Park.
WEST VIRGINIA: Hampshire, Morgan, Berkeley, Jefferson, Hardy, eastern Mineral.

WHAT…South winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 to 50 mph.

WHERE…DC, and portions of central, north central, northern, and western Maryland, central, northern, northwest, and western Virginia, and eastern and panhandle West Virginia.

WHEN…Until 6 PM EDT this evening.

IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
