…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON…
WHAT…Snow showers and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
WHERE…In Maryland, Extreme Western Allegany County. In Virginia, Western Highland County. In West Virginia, Western Mineral County.
WHEN…Until 3 PM EST this afternoon.
IMPACTS…Plan on slippery and variable travel conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snow showers will be more localized and intermittent in nature before tapering to flurries this afternoon.
